June Favorites!!

First things first- um how is it already July?! I actually can’t believe it. I didn’t do a May favorites blog post, so I have a bunch of stuff that I want to include in this one, so let’s get into it!

Beauty faves are up first!

I got this Skin Drop moisturizer this month and I haven’t been able to put it down. It has been amazing for my dry skin and the scent is super refreshing. It is a thicker consistency but it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all and I didn’t notice it clogging my pores either! I’ve been using this moisturizer day and night and ever since I’ve been using it, I notice that when I wake up, my skin feels way more hydrated. It’s vegan, gluten-free, paraben-free, and has no artificial colors or fragrance. There’s also no SLS, mineral oil, formaldehyde, petroleum, sulfates, phthalates, triclosan, or unsafe preservatives. And it’s certified by PETA as 100% cruelty-free! WINNER WINNER!!

This under eye brightening corrector is a product that I haven’t been able to put down since I got it. I put it on under my eyes before my foundation and concealer and it does such a good job at brightening the under eye area! I’m pretty sure I am going to buy this for the rest of my life haha

I’m always on the hunt for a new concealer because in my mind, no concealer is ever PERFECT. But this one has been working great for me! I don’t notice a ton of creasing and it blends super well with the under eye corrector, too! I use the shade Neutral.

UGHHHH. This body butter…. I have no words. If you don’t like scented lotions, this aint for you sis. But if you do…omg. I got this lotion the day before I left for the cruise and I didn’t bring it with me because I was already packed up, but I used it before we left for the airport, and the entire time I was dreaming about coming home and using it again.. not even lying haha. The scent stays ALL DAY, and for someone like me who doesn’t smell the greatest at the end of the day, this is a huge plus!

Shoes:

These sandals were the only ones I brought on the cruise and I got SO MANY compliments and girls asking where I got them!! They are super comfy, have never given me a blister (and I have sensitive feet) and the color is the perfect shade of cognac! They are also on sale today!!

These platform sneakers have been my JAM for the last few weeks!! I am obsessed with them- probably because they give me the 2.5 inches that I’ve always longed for haha. They aren’t hard to walk in either which is a major plus for me since I choose comfort over style any day of the week! I love how they look cute with literally everything, too! Sweats, dresses or jeans!

Soooo I got my first pair of Dr. Martens and I’m obsessed. I actually needed to consciously tell myself not to wear them so much because all of my pictures I was wearing them! I got my normal size 6!

Clothing:

These “mom” jeans were on repeat this month! I never though I would get into the mom jeans, I thought I would be a skinny jean girl 4 LYFE, but nope. People change! I am a changed woman! I got a size 4 but probably could have done a 2, I just wanted a loser fit! (My normal size is a 2/26)

This bathing suit is not only the cutest thing in the world, but also under 30$ for both pieces!! I got so many compliments on it when I wore it on the cruise and everyone was SHOCKED when I told them the price and where they could get it! The high waist is super flattering and the material doesn’t feel cheap at all. Oh and it comes in like 20 different color options! I got the size 4 and it fits perfectly!

These white jeans!! Wow, I can’t say enough good things about these jeans. They are super comfy, fit extremely well AND stains come out really easily!

Accessories/Misc:

I’ve gotten more compliments on this hat that I have with any other piece of clothing!! Someone even stopped me on the beach and asked me where they could buy it! It is by far my favorite summer hat! It’s a little pricey but the quality is amazing! I paid 90$ for mine, but it’s under 50$ if you use my code BLAKEXO!!!

I haven’t been able to stop wearing these sunnies all month! They have replaced my black and gold round Ray Bans and I never thought I would see the day that that happened! They are a tiny bit smaller and I love that they are a mauve color!

I got new luggage for the cruise and I am EXTREMELY impressed with the quality/price of the 3 piece set that I got! Also, can we talk about how cute the color is?!?! Jon looked so adorable walking through LAX with these pink suit cases hahaha.

My friend Alyssa sent me 2 of her scrunchies that she launched in May and I haven’t used anything else for my hair since I got them! I actually have one in my hair as I type this blog post! Not only are scrunchies super in right now, but they are great for hair! I love that I can put my hair up for a pilates class and when I take it out an hour later there is no crimp in my hair, even though I wrapped it around a few times!

These protein bars are the best tasting bars I’ve ever tried. And let me tell you, I’ve tried A LOT!!! They taste like a freaking brownie but aren’t crazy sweet!!!!
