Hi friends!! Today we’re going to talk about a company that has kinda stolen my heart over the last two weeks, Live Beautifully! Before we get into the review, I thought I would give you a little back story on the company. It was started by a husband and wife duo in their home in Colorado (so cute!) They wanted to create a brand that was just as diverse as it was natural. From lip balms to glosses, to deodorants to face oils, Live Beautifully is a one stop shop for someone who wants to experience clean beauty without breaking the bank. I also love that how the customer feels about themselves inside and out is their priority. Everything that I tried is CRUELTY FREE, ALL NATURAL, AND HAND MADE!!! Ok- let’s get into the review!

If you’ve been here for a minute, my dry skin isn’t news to you. But since I always have new readers- Hi, hello, my name is Blake and I have dry as the desert skin, nice to meet you! So when I saw that LB had products for ULTRA dry skin, my heart basically sang a little song haha. Now don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t completely sold yet because I have tried numerous products marketed for “extremely dry” or “ultra dry” before and I still felt dry when I woke up the next morning.
Let’s start with the hydrating face wash!
I want to first start off with the size of the face wash. I wish all face washes were this size!! It’s not too small where you feel like you’re only going to get a weeks work of washing out of it, but it’s not crazy huge where you feel like you don’t even know where to store it haha. It is the perfect size for travel and I even brought this little guy on the cruise with me last week!
The actual product smells like nothing- AMAZING. Can all companies please take a page out of LB’s book and stop putting fragrance in everything!? This was major points to LB! The face wash felt super smooth on my skin, didn’t foam or suds up, and my skin actually felt clean but not stripped like it normally does directly after I wash it.

Next up we have the hydrating face serum!
When I got this packing in the mail, it was about 11am and I was so excited to try it, that I used it right away. After I washed my face, I put the serum on… and I quickly realized that this was probably not the best for day time use haha. The bottle says “lightweight, all day hydration” and although is EXTREMELY hydrating, and I personally love the feel of oils on my face so I didn’t mind this at all, I do not think that this a light weight serum. With that being said, I still loved this serum! I just chose to use it at night instead of in the mornings! The smell is earthy, not a good nor bad smell, but it doesn’t linger long either. I’ve used this serum every night for the last 2 weeks and each morning when I wake up I no longer feel like my skin is in desperate need of hydration. I still even saw a bit of dewy-ness from it the next morning, which never happens!!

Next up is the moisturizing face butter
Again, I love the packaging and I have been using this for 2 weeks every single night and I have barely made a dent in it! A little goes a long way which is awesome! The smell is a pleasant tea tree scent and I looked forward to putting it on my face every night! The texture is kind of like a whipped butter haha. When I started to rub it in, it basically melted into my skin. If you are looking for a hydrating moisturizer with GOOD FOR YOU ingredients, please look no further! On the jar it says minimizes fine lines but I haven’t seen that yet, but I have only been using it for 2 weeks and I will update y’all in about a month!

Overall I give the skincare an A in my book! I have noticed that my skin is less dehydrated and definitely more plump over the last 2 weeks and I will continue to use this line!!
They also were sweet enough to send me 2 of their deodorants!! I told them to choose the 2 that have the longest lasting power since I am not a very great smelling girl haha. I have tried my fair share of “natural” deodorants and most of them haven’t worked on me, but I wanted to give these a shot! I think my favorite part of these deodorants is that they come in minis!! How freaking cute!!! It’s no shock that I love anything mini, but this is the perfect size to just throw in your purse if you need a little touch up throughout the day- and I ALWAYS do, even ask Carly haha. These have been a life saver on shoot days, especially with the weather getting warmer!
They sent me the strawberry honeysuckle and shabby london rose scents. The first one I tried was the strawberry one- and although it smells AMAZZZZINNGG, it’s just way too sweet for me to wear as a deoderant. It literally made me hungry for ice cream when I wore it hahaha. The next day I tried the shabby london rose- and I love it! It smells like a very muted perfume. I have been rocking this scent the last 2 weeks and I’ve actually gotten compliments on how well I smell- and that never used to happen haha. I will say that it does not last as long as a traditional deodorant. I usually have to reapply around hour 3 (about an hour sooner that I when I would need to reapply with traditional deodorant)- but it’s really not an issue because I now keep the little mini with me now!
