What’s in my gym bag?

Hi guys! When I asked y’all on Instagram what you wanted to see more of a lot of you guys said fitness stuffs so I thought I would show you what is in my gym bag!

Let’s first talk about the bag that I carry all of my stuff in. I know these pictures don’t do it justice because WordPress compresses the pictures, but if you want to see a better visual head over to my Instagram! Another thing I love is that the entire bag (front, back, and both sides) are pockets! I love to keep my water bottle in the side pockets JUUUUUUST incase it leaks (which it never has)

Since on the topic of water bottles, isn’t this one freaking adorable?!?! It matches the bag per-fect-ly! It is BPA free and has a spout or you could unscrew it for faster water consumption, you can find it HERE!

Ok- let’s talk gym accessories that I keep in my bag:

The blue and black disc are sliders which I bought for a BeachBody program I did a year ago and I have kept them in my bag ever since. They are really great for ab exercises for a little extra burn! Also they can be used on carpet or wood depending on what surface you are working with! You can find them HERE, they come in a pack with resistance bands like I talk about below!

I carry 2 different types of bands with me. The top ones are resistance bands, but I tend to use the thicker band/hip circle that says “but first fitness” on it because I love the fact that it doesn’t ride up or slip down. I cannot tell you how annoyed I get at the rubber ones when I’m trying to do my thang and they keep moving around. I like the rubber resistance bands for kick backs, whereas the other one I use for just about everything else haha. You can find my hip circle HERE.

I wear ankle weights for most of my workouts nowadays because I only workout for about 30 minutes every other day and adding these gave me the UMPH I was missing! My ankle weights are 2.5 lbs each and can be found HERE.

I also always carry a sweat towel but any little towel will work. Even a dish towel which is the one I have in my bag right now hahaha

Moving on to technology-

I cannot workout with out music so if I forget my headphones at my apartment, 9 times out of 10 I’m probably going to turn around and just go back home. Music is a must for me! I love my wireless beats headphones, I’ve had mine for about 2 years and they work great. I found them on sale HERE for under 100$!!!

My apple watch is another thing that I have a hard time working out without. I’m pretty competitive, even with myself, so being able to track my workouts and push myself harder every day makes it so easy with the iwatch!

Beauty Items- Out of everything in my gym bag, I probably have the most in the beauty department… go figure haha.

I absolutely love my Kopari coconut deodorant. It’s all natural and is great for keeping me feeling AND smelling great throughout the day. This is the only natural deodorant (that I have personally tried) that has kept the odor at bay! If you haven’t tried it out I really recommend it, you can find it HERE! If I am not going directly home after a workout, I like to wipe my body down with these natural deodorant wipes from Pacifica. They smell great and they leave my skin feeling hydrated, you can find them HERE!

Makeup wipes are a must in my gym bag since I have acne prone skin I always take my make up off before I workout! I get a huge box of wipes at costco that usually lasts me about a year! I also love THESE ONES from aveeno.

The juice beauty hydrating face mist is so refreshing after finishing a workout! Sometimes I workout just so that I can spray it on my face! …Ok that was a lie but you get what I’m saying! It’s bomb! You can find it it HERE.

Lastly, I keep a mini bag of items that are small and that I don’t want getting lost in the mix. In this little bag I keep some bobby pins/hair ties, lip balm (with SPF- my lips burn super easily) Coola facial sunscreen (this is one of the only sunscreens that hasn’t broken me out, yay!), L’oreal Telescopic Mascara, eye drops (my eyes get bloodshot when I workout haha not a cute look), and last but not least… FENTY GLOSS BOMB. Basically the most amazing gloss ever created.

Two things I forgot to to add in was 1. I always keep a protein bar in my bag as well, but right before I was shooting these pictures I ate mine and forgot to replace it, sorry!! I have linked the bars that have been my go to for a few months now HERE! 8g of fat, 20g protein and only 1 net carb!

The second is my high pony tail hat. I was complaining to Jon last year that I want to wear hats when I go for a run but I hate running with a low ponytail. A few days later, Jon gave me a package to open and it was a high pony tail hat! It was so sweet, and now I have it in 3 colors hahaha. You can find it HERE!
